**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMWare Architect to join our dynamic team. As a
VMWare Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our VMWare
infrastructure. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance
of our virtualization environment.

Requirements**
1. Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design
VMware-based solutions, considering VMware, Azure VMware Solution, Google Cloud VMware
Engine, and migration strategies.
2. VMware Infrastructure Management: Configure, manage, and optimize VMware infrastructure
components, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi hosts, clusters, virtual networking, storage, and
security.
3. Cloud Integration: Integrate VMware environments with cloud platforms, including Azure and
Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging relevant services such as Azure VMware Solution and
Google Cloud VMware Engine.
4. Migration Planning and Execution: Develop migration strategies and lead the execution of
VMware workload migrations from on-premises to cloud environments, as well as between data
centers, ensuring minimal downtime and successful transition.
5. Hybrid Cloud Architecture: Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures that utilize VMware
technologies alongside Azure and GCP, optimizing the benefits of both environments.
6. Performance Optimization: Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of VMware
environments, Azure VMware Solution, Google Cloud VMware Engine, and migrated workloads,
applying best practices for performance tuning, resource management, and capacity planning.
7. Security and Compliance: Implement security controls, adhering to industry standards and
regulations, to ensure the integrity and compliance of VMware architectures integrated with
Azure, GCP, and other relevant cloud platforms.
8. Documentation and Technical Guidance: Create comprehensive technical documentation,
including solution designs, configurations, migration plans, and operational procedures. Provide
technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
9. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams, to gather requirements, address
concerns, and ensure successful implementation and operation of VMware solutions integrated
with Azure, GCP, and other relevant cloud platforms
**Benefits
Required Skills:**
1. Extensive experience and expertise in VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi,
vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite.
2. Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing VMware environments.
3. Strong understanding of Azure, GCP, or other relevant cloud platforms and their integration with
VMware, including Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
4. Expertise in migration strategies and hands-on experience executing VMware workload
migrations from on-premises to cloud environments and between data centers.
5. Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, utilizing the benefits of on-premises VMware, Azure,
GCP, and other relevant cloud platforms.
6. Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security principles within a virtualized
environment.
7. Familiarity with networking concepts, such as virtual networking, subnets, VPN, and load
balancers.
8. Security-oriented mindset with experience implementing security controls and ensuring
compliance in VMware and cloud environments.
9. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in VMware and cloud environments.
10. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
11. Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's
degree preferred.
2. VMware certifications, such as VCP-DCV, VCAP, or VCDX.
3. Cloud certifications for Azure, GCP, or other relevant cloud platforms.
4. Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, such as PowerShell, Terraform, or
cloud-specific tools for Azure and GCP.
