We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in SAP and Business Objects. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in building interactive reports and dashboards, integrating SAP data sources, and working with Business Objects reporting tools. The role requires expertise in Power BI, SAP HANA, SAP BW, and Business Objects, along with a deep understanding of data modeling, visualization, and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Experience:
✅ 8+ years of experience in BI & Data Analytics with expertise in Power BI.
✅ Strong experience in SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP Business Objects (BOBJ Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Lumira).
✅ Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and SQL.
✅ Experience in integrating SAP BEx Queries, CDS Views, and BW Queries into Power BI.
✅ Hands-on experience in ETL processes, data modeling, and performance tuning.
✅ Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and access control in Power BI.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
➕ Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Databricks.
➕ Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, and other ETL tools.
➕ Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
➕ Understanding of AI/ML-based analytics in Power BI.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
Implement DAX calculations and Power Query transformations for efficient reporting.
Integrate SAP HANA, SAP BW, and Business Objects with Power BI.
Build dataflows, datasets, and paginated reports in Power BI.
Extract and transform data from SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP Business Objects Universes.
Work with SAP BEx Queries, CDS Views, and BW Queries to connect with Power BI.
Develop Business Objects reports (BOBJ Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Lumira).
Optimize data retrieval and ensure real-time data connectivity in Power BI.
Optimize Power BI reports, DAX calculations, and query performance.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and access control in Power BI.
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance with organizational policies.
Work with SAP teams to enhance query performance and data extraction.
Gather and analyze business requirements for reporting and visualization.
Provide insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Work closely with SAP functional teams, data engineers, and IT teams.
Train end-users on self-service BI capabilities using Power BI.
